Burgaz ve Kalpazankaya hakkında daha evvel uzun uzun yazmıştım o
yüzden bu post güzel bir Temmuz gecesinden, bu sıcak yaz günlerinde İstanbul'da kalmak zorundakilere ilham versin diye geliyor, taze taze deniz kokulu !!

Previously I have written a longer post about one of the Prince Islands ''Burgaz'' and Kalpazankaya our favourite restaurant at the top of this island, one of the unique places to watch the breathtaking sunset and Istanbul view.

They serve many kinds of meze, fresh fish with raki and also I suggest you
to taste their souffle, keep in mind that it is difficult to walk up & down (around 45 minutes) another alternative can be a horse carriage ( autos are not allowed on islands) and don't forget to request the bill at least 45 minutes before your ferry's departure,

Most of the time we could not enjoy the beautiful summer nights while running between office and home and we blaim the big city but we know it is not true, Burgaz is very close to İstanbul and also far away from the chaos all we have to do is to take the next ferry and enjoy the scenery, don't wait for the weekend !!

Bir başka güzel ada şüphesiz Burgazada aslında biz bu sene farkına vardık güzelliklerinin desem çok da yanlış olmaz.

Burgaz is one of the Prince islands and it is unfortunate that we are not able to go there so frequently.

Bu yaz ilk teşebbüsümüz plansız programsız bir cumartesi akşamıydı, kondisyonumuza güvenip tepedeki güzel yemekleri de düşünerek kendimizi motive ettik, lakin Kalpazankaya'ya vardığımızda garson arkadaşlar hiç boş masa olmadığını, beklememizin gereksiz olduğunu bize çok açık ifade etmiş olmalarına rağmen 20 dakikalık oturma eylemimiz sonucu bize bir masa ayarladılar.

Our first try was a saturday night, we climbed up the hill by motivating ourselves with beautiful view and delicious food at the end but when we arrived we were surprised by such a crowded restaurant, we had no reservation, we stood up for a while and insistently asked for one and at last we got it by chance.

İkinci sefer daha planlı programlı idi önceden rezervasyonumuzu yaptırmanın rahatlığıyla masamıza kurulduk, bira - patates ikilisiyle başlayan ziyafet, börülce, patlıcan salatası ve diğer zeytinyağlı mezelerle devam etti. Ana yemek olarak hiç balık yemeyenlere bile kendini yedirtebilen deniz levreği seçimimiz çok doğruydu. Finali ise nefis sufle ile yaptık. Hafif çakır keyif bindiğimiz faytondan ne zaman indik, vapura nasıl bindik işte akşamımızın o kısmı biraz muamma.

Our second try was planned before that we made reservation for a sea view table, they welcomed us with beers and chips than after sun set mezes came such as aubergine salad, sea bean, shrimps, cheese and melon with a traditional drink raki. Delicious Sea bass as main course and finally souffle as dessert.
